Beane, Mullins, and Macedo Capture Checkered Flags at Caraway Speedway

Friday night’s racing program at Caraway Speedway delivered clean, competitive action across three divisions, with strong fields in the Limited Late Models and Legends providing the bulk of the excitement.

In the 99-lap Limited Late Model feature, Thomas Beane (Car #01) charged from the sixth starting spot to score a convincing victory. Beane methodically worked his way forward and took the lead before halfway, then held off a determined challenge from Austin Harris (Car #21), who started eighth and finished a strong second. Rounding out the top five were Camden Thomas (third, started fourth), Nick Bulkeley (fourth, started seventh), and Donald Canipe (fifth, started tenth). The complete order of finish was: 6. Coy Beard, 7. Dylan Ward, 8. Max Calles McDonald, 9. Justin Hicks, and 10. David Snook Jr.

The Bandolero division, while smaller with only three cars, still produced a spirited 15-lap contest. Thomas Mullins (Car #10) started outside pole and led flag-to-flag for the win. Jakob Peterson (Car #8) took second after starting on the pole, while Lucas Kakouris (Car #9K) rounded out the podium in third.

The 25-lap Legends main event featured the deepest field of the night with 15 entries. Samuel Macedo (Car #16) started second and wasted no time grabbing the lead, cruising to victory in a relatively uneventful but cleanly run race. Kadin Ridenhour (Car #100) advanced from fourth to second, with Brady Price (Car #32) charging from sixth to third. Nate Morris (fourth, started fifth) and Jackson Darnell (fifth, started first) completed the top five. Further back, Landon Barefoot, Nate DiVone, Justin Laduke, Cal Anderson, and Daniel Ridenhour rounded out the top ten. Mike Wolfe, Landon Plummer, Jay Taylor, and Mekhi Winfrey also completed the distance, while Fernando Ferrer was the only DNS.

With the season still young, Friday’s results at the historic North Carolina oval give early momentum to Beane in the Limited Late Models, Mullins in the Bandoleros, and Macedo in the Legends. All three winners will look to carry their opening-night success into the next event on the Caraway schedule.
